My experience with Moroccan oil so far..

Well after reading a lot of hype online about this "miracle" product, I decided to take a trip to town and buy a bottle,, maybe I just had too a high expectation, or I'm just not using it correctly.

I have naturally curly hair just past my shoulders, that's kind of thin, well my hairdresser always says that I have "fine hair but a lot of it". I can't really use a lot of products on it , because it gets quite greasy. I wash it usually every second day, or third if I'm lazy but by the third day it's usually resembling a chip pan.

So I bought this came home and applied a pump to my dry hair , and it worked don't get me wrong! My hair looked shinier and felt soft but it was greasiest than normal the next day! So I tried it again after I got out of the shower on wet hair, and again my hair felt greasier .

So maybe I'm not using it correctly , I applied about half a pump to the ends of my hair , but it just seems to make my hair greasier, which I think is a large price to pay to make my hair look abit better. So I'm left with a big bottle of the stuff and occasionally use it like a serum to tame the frizz but its not, in my opinion, a "miracle product" by any means, but it could just be down to me using it wrong, if any of you have suggestions on how to apply it so I could right a follow up post review, and tell you my taught's on it.

I got a pump in the box with mine. And I LOVE the packaging, it looks so high end in its lovely turquoisey blue box. But I have read a few reviews on people who did not receive a pump, which isn't a huge deal but it makes things a whole lot easier with it. And for the price, I would expect to find a pump included. I bought mine around the time when it was first on the market, a while ago now I may add, for about 40euros. I think it was And i bought it from my local salon, Can't remember the exact price but it definitely wasn't more than €40..

After I bought this I noticed that there was now a version for blonde and fine hair , which is probably the version I should have bought, tell me your taught's if any of you guys have been using it. I Bought mine though when there were hardly any other moroccan oils out there in the market, I know treseme do a version that I have been meaning to try.

In conclusion it's an ok product but that's it, well on my hair anyway. And its not worth the price i paid, But i reckon it would be great on longer, thicker hair. I have also heard good things on the shampoo and conditioners from the line it has but haven't tried any so i don't know if they live up to the hype. so let me know your thoughts and if you have any tips or tricks on using it or if anyone has used other products from the line..
